sync

Push, pull, and inspect remote lock snapshots.

Updated View as Markdown

sync transports remote lock snapshots on all platforms. It does not install, upgrade, or remove packages. The machine ID is resolved from configuration and environment; it is not a positional argument.

configure-worker

Syntax: outfitting-manager sync configure-worker [<url>]

Stores the lockfiles Worker URL in the OS keychain. The optional URL is the deployed Worker endpoint. OUTFITTING_LOCKFILES_URL may be used when keychain storage is unavailable and takes precedence over the stored value.

configure-token

Syntax: outfitting-manager sync configure-token

Prompts for and stores the Worker API token in the OS keychain. OUTFITTING_LOCKFILES_TOKEN may be used when keychain storage is unavailable and takes precedence over the stored value.

push

Syntax: outfitting-manager sync push [<kind>] [<path>] [--if-match <sha256>]

Uploads and promotes one lock snapshot or scans known local lock paths and uploads those that exist. A path is required when one kind is selected and omitted when kind is all.

Argument or option Description
<kind> Lockfile kind; omitted or all selects all known local lock paths.
<path> Source file for a single kind.
--if-match <sha256> Promote only if the current remote hash matches the expected SHA-256.

pull

Syntax: outfitting-manager sync pull [<kind>] [<out-path>]

Downloads one lock snapshot or all tracked kinds. Known kinds use their default output path when no path is supplied. An explicit output path is not valid with kind all.

list

Syntax: outfitting-manager sync list

Lists lockfile kinds tracked for the resolved machine.

history

Syntax: outfitting-manager sync history [<kind>]

Displays version history for one kind. An omitted kind or all selects every tracked kind.
